4:30 am and can't sleep, despite the painkillers and sedatives. What is it about hospitals that screw up sleep so badly?
I got up and walked around a bit a few times yesterday. It's hard to believe how weak I feel.
The one thing I've learned from all of this - listen to your body and don't ignore persistent symptoms no matter how minor they may seem. I could have easily died and by the time my symptoms were "bad", it was nearly too late.
P.S. the nurses are decidedly un-hot and there is no booze on the menu. WTF?
