When I first got into Jiu-jitsu I was terrible, and it was embarrassing, and I sweated way more than everyone else and was just, in general, the new guy who sucked, LOL. But over time, I built a rapport with other people in the class, and got better at Jiu-jitsu, and the feeling of seeing that improvement in myself was awesome!
Also, as a writer, I'm a bit of a loner by nature, so I often have to force myself to get out and socialize, and group fitness activities are a great way to do that, in my opinion.
I did it last week. It wasn't easy at all, but I did okay. I've been doing yoga for years, so that helped. Definitely more cardio than yoga, and I felt a few muscles I haven't felt in a fucking age, so that was good. I'm going to keep it up.
