You should be able to firstly open the image fully from facebook then right click the image, select the "copy image address" option and attach it to a post using the "insert an image" option along the top of a post. Here's one from my local GAA club:

Yes, agreed, that SHOULD work but does not - that's the problem. Weirder still, the image appears fine in the post editor but when I submit the post...I'll do it now to show: EDIT: AHA!
