Continuity errors often exist in tv shows. I do think in the pilot Michael's character gets busted for grifting drug dealers.
It is just like in the original Cheers sitcom, Frasier's dad was a psychiatrist like him, but in the spin off "Frasier" his dad was a retired cop.

I didn't call it a chick flick, go read all the posts, someone else did. I said I wouldn't call it a chick flick, because guys get bullied too.
Yes, I did call it a horror movie. All I was arguing is that Carrie is unique and doesn't really quite fit the word. I only used "Horror", it because if, back then, you went to a Blockbuster and rented it, it would be in the "Horror" section.
It has the violence aspect of it, but it still was not a monster movie, zombie movie, or slasher movie. If I had to label it, it would be more like a "supernatural thriller".
If Trump had been a character in Carrie, he would have been Travolta under the stage pulling the rope with his girlfriend.
