The small pedant in me wants to point out that the deceased would have been a 'She'.

I just found a dead ant on the concrete pathway, circled in chalk, next to that it says, 'RIP - cause of death - unknown, he was dead when I got here.' :-)
There probably won't be any unchalked pathway tomorrow.
