I'm in Linux 99.9% of the time, so Firefox is my browser of choice for the same reasons. It's secure, it's extendible, and it's fast.
When I'm in Windows, I use Chrome because it's possibly the fastest browser for Windows, and since I don't spend much time in Windows I don't need all my extensions. Once Google put extension capabilities in Chrome, it will probably become my default browser across all systems.
