Gen. Anami Korechika (阿南 惟幾, Anami Korechika, 21 February 1887 – 15 August 1945) was appointed War Minister in the cabinet of Prime Minister Suzuki Kantarō. On his orders the military industries were decentralized as much as possible, with people ordered to do as much as they could in their homes. This made them legitimate targets of war.
