The Tokyo Fire Bombing was cowardly terrorism against civilians. Totally shameful and inexcusable.
The outcome of NOT making the raid on Tokyo would have allowed imperial war production in that area to continue unimpeded.
If you’re going to accuse someone of cowardice, pin it on the Japanese. Decentralizing war production into a civilian area is EXACTLY the same as using human shields, a cynical, cowardly tactic if ever there was one.
