Actually I was asked about man’s nature, because man’s choices are determined by his nature and I was asked about man’s choices. If I am not allowed to answer such questions then why are people allowed to ask them?
Quote: 1. God doesn't really give you choices.
Incorrect, but I can’t tell you why because the answer involves matters that apparently are preaching.
Quote: 2. However, if you choose to sin it is your choice.
Also incorrect, but for the same reason as above I cannot tell you why.
Quote: He did not ask you your opinion on his character. You asserted that yourself.Actually he did, he asked a Reformed Christian about free will. Reformed Christians believe that man’s will and choices are determined by his corrupt character and nature. If he didn’t want an answer dealing with these things he should not have asked that question. I should not have used the term “you” when I answered his question, and I apologize for that. However, my intent was not to preach at him, it was to answer his question. If I had gotten on this site to preach I would have done it a year ago.
