Trump fucked up, not because he didn't listen to Allah or Jesus or Yahweh or Buddha or Vishnu. He fucked up, and is fucking up more now Memorial Day weekend by ignoring medical and science experts. It is going to get worse because of his stupidity and selfish ego, but there is no god helping humans to survive this.
Billionaire Nick Hanauer saw being unprepared for things like this almost a decade ago. But worldwide we can see this lack of preparation in Pakistan and Brazil and Sweden too.
Humans unfortunately worldwide far too often think short term, and locally and tribally. Trump isn't the cause, he is merely the outcome of long term ignorance. But that ignorance isn't strictly American. Our species doesn't think globally or long term enough. All 7 billion of us live on only one home, a ball, not a flat indefinite flat perpetual motion machine. Our species has yet to get to the point of seeing outside our groups to see that we are one species.
