He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Actually that's the END of the chapter, and the entire thing is a LOT MORE than just loving your enemies.

did you for get or are you so dishonest it simply does not matter? your quote started at 44 forward, which leaves the passage ambiguous. the inculsion of mat 43 is the start of a new teaching or paragraph listed in most bibles as "love for your enemies." Why the rest of the chapter does speak on several other passages 43-48 are a specific lesson. funny how you left off the title when you quoted 44-48 and inserted your own. kind like you knew you were doing wrong and did it anyway.
