A fascist leader is authoritarian. He doesn't hold elections every four years

Mussolini, a Fascist authoritarian, was elected Prime Minister in 1924. Five years later, he held another election. Five years after that, he held another election. 

Putin, an authoritarian by anyone’s standards, holds elections like clockwork.

Where on earth did you get the idea that authoritarians leaders don’t hold elections?
