I was convinced that I was a gonner if I contracted the disease because of me being very overweight, having an afib heartbeat and high blood pressure - albeit controlled through medication. I also have a drinking problem. I'm 61 years old. As it turned out though, it was nothing to me. I lost my appetite for several days and felt very weak. I slept for 10 hours a day for about 3 days. But that was it. It's been almost a week now and I have no symptoms at all. That's awful . I'm glad your okay .
Strange disease. It's killed people younger than me and (I thought) less vulnerable.
Obviously, I'm grateful. This thing scared the crap out of me but turned out to be no threat at all.
