Oh my god! DID YOU miss the part of the title where I put the word "RELIGION" in?
I am on his side. RELIGION is the scam. So he should be arrested for criticizing religion?
The article wasn’t about religion, it was about a man arrested for running afoul of anti-blasphemy laws.
I’m on his side as well - I support freedom of religion (probably more than you do). But religion being a scam has nothing to do with the article. No, he should not have been arrested for criticizing religion, but - again - that’s not the point of the article.
Let’s try an analogy. Suppose I believe that the banking system is a fraud. I know it is illegal to rob a bank, but I do so anyway. Is my arrest for bank robbery a ‘scam’?
