Do femicides really exist?

If a woman is victim of a violent crime, such as rape,  then the motivation of the perpetrator is sexual pleasure, not because she is a woman.

I'm just going to point out that this is wrong. Rape is NOT a crime of sexual pleasure. It is a crime of *power*, primarily.

And, more specifically, it is usually a crime to achieve power over some woman.
