The white supremicists while making good "film at 11" fodder are a minscule part of the voting public - and as far as I know NONE of the Electoral College. So they really are not an issue. At all.
There's a SHITLOAD of run of the mill ( R )s that would rather almost anything other than Trump. Pence is a catch in comparison....
