Do you really think that the doctors prescribed a little ride around the neighborhood as a good course of action for someone who has been hospitalized, is receiving a huge cocktail of meds, and has been on and off oxygen for the last few days?

None of us here (that I am aware) have access to his medical records and would be making guesses if I did. Also - I don't have access to his advisors - or what they are telling him.
I DO know that in the past - leaders of other countries who were secluded for any period of time had problems keeping things under control...... If he disappeared from view for a month - it might start a scramble for power... Even more so this close to an election.
There are enough variables that an assessment drawn from a few talking heads is probably not a very good idea.
If you have made your mind up otherwise - that's your perogative.
