I call the this essay:
When talking about evil God have you noticed that God's revolting son, Jesus, was a baby killer? Jesus' entrance into the world came with the murder of many innocent little children.
The slaughter of the innocents was planned by God. Just look at all the divine interventions there had been: The angel appearing to Mary; the angel appearing to Joseph to calm his nerves; angels appear to shepherds to tell them about baby Jesus; angels appear to the wise men to warn them not to go back to Herod; an angel appears to Joseph to warn him of Herod preparing to kill the children in Bethlehem.
So many heavenly warnings were used quite often in preparing the way for Baby Jesus, and yet there was one specific intervention that was conveniently left out: warning the wise men NOT to visit Herod in the first place!!
Had the wise men never sought Herod's help in looking for Jesus, Herod would have never sent out orders to kill all of the children under two. Sparing the lives and suffering of the children and their parents was never part of God's/ Jesus' plan.
The plan, for some reason, had to involve many murdered children, and probably the wailing and gnashing of teeth of the parents of the murdered children.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
