Yeah, but it is germane to the conversation. I see a common thread being tugged at in this and many other posts. You either shit on Trump and equate him with unbridled evil or you are his supporter.
I think it might not matter who was president because the problem lies in the execution of safety measures by the populace. Even when masks weren't officially considered necessary I was wearing one around town because the governor supported masks. I guess if Obama was president I could imagine an impassioned speech might move the needle in the populace, but there still would be that contingent of asshats that want to buck what science tells us.
