I cant speak from experience but i'm sure all sexual sin pretty much works the same way. sex is like a drug, and what ever your personal drug of choice is, once you become addicted to that flavor it has you. it would be no different if you were exposed to hertosexual sex at a younger age and had yourself a little girlfriend who was into it too. you can rationalize it you can not hardly control it. or if you could i'm sure as many homosexuals point out why would they openly chose a lifestyle that splits their families and ruins careers and lives. or the man who cheats on his wife.. when he has become addicted to the whole adventure of cheating or even the man addicted to porn.. it is all sexual sin, society just so happens to draw a line and forms a specific boundary around one specific sexual sin because most of us do not have or has to feed the addiction with under age peope. but in truth the sin is the same to god. That is why in the NT there is no difference between the word homosexuality and pedophile (why they are not specifically/separately identified) as they identified in the greater sexual sin.) So why I'm sure you and the rest of us have no issue with pedophilia those in the church see our sexual sin as being to God no different that our own sins of choice. After all we set the limits on sex in this society
not God. God never says 18 before sex. so why should he care if to us it qualifies as pedophilia, when his standard demand a sanctified marriage.

It’s about the C of E not only failing to protect children from abusers, but opting instead to protect the abusers themselves. look at the title of the thread! "Church of england fails to protect..." the church of england has no police force. it has no army, it has no series of checks and balances outside personal accountability to protect with..

so when an actor or some celbrity gets caught diddling some kid, does the screen actors guild have to make things right? do other actors get boy cotted or shat on by soceity for the actions of another man? can you not see this doubble standard with in the church?

God only offers protection to our souls. so while here you are satans slave to sin. so if you oppose satan... like if you were to goto church... satan will hate you and use everything in his power to bring you down, and break you of your faith. if this seems anti christian to you. you have no idea what the religion is about. I have personal read and studied the bible for over 25 years. spending 4 to 6 hours aday in study and answering your questions. while my specific doctrines do not follow the RC church (which is to be the bride of satan in the book of revelation) is a good thing!
