But you see - that is exactly the problem. Your question is not framed with "win or lose" - but simply "will he commit to a peaceful transfer of power"?
When the question is asked that way (as the reporter did) it infers that he.loses the election.
It is a "when did you quit beating your wife" sort of question.
So you have no problem with the president of the US endorsing political violence, but have a problem with his being asked if he endorses political violence?
