Which was the entire point of my linking to that piece on Medium. Just because [insert right-wing public figure here] didn’t actively tell [insert perpetrator of a prominent political crime here] to do it doesn’t mean their publicly-stated views didn’t help radicalise them. And it’s made even more fucked up by the facts hat, for the conservative side, the Overton Window has moved so far to the right that Twitter is so slow to ban white supremacist content Partly because it fears mainstream conservatives could be swept up in it.
