I just wish it were constitutional to do what I'd like to do with our democracy.
The Iraq War we've been lied into has cost us so much. The monetary cost alone is over a trillion dollars. As someone who voted Democrat in 2000 and since, I don't appreciate that some of that debt is mine. There needs to be a special dumb ass tax to raise a trillion dollars to pay for their mess.
Those who voted for W in 2000 get a nominal share and be allowed to continue voting if they promise to be more responsible in the future.
Those who voted for him in 2004 get to pay half of the war cost burden and their voting rights will be suspended until they can pass some sort of current events test to prove they can handle the responsibility better in the future.
Those who voted for McCain in 2008 will pay the other half and have their voting rights permanently taken away.
