What would things look like?
If the Republicans disappeared, another party would instantly take their place, and it would likely be a worse one.
We don't need to get rid of groups that disagree with us. We do need to get rid of would-be dictators.
Countries can only exist because of a belief in a common narrative. In a generation, that belief will no longer exist if the Republican party remains the party of Trump. That being said, it might also be true if far-left takes over the Democratic party. Once that common narrative is dead, so is the country.
