Trump isn't responsible for what Iran or Israel do between them, but all the asshole has done is golfed and Tweeted rage tweets. 

I'd trust Bush Jr far more right now than Trump.

Israel has routinely assassinated Iranian scientists for quite a while now. They did it during Obama's time, also, and he rewarded them handsomely. 

This despite the fact that Iran cooperates with the IAEA and has shown that it hasn't had a nuclear weapons program for a long time. 

I think you're right that the timing of this latest murder has to do with Trump's limited time remaining. Israel has been threatening this particular scientist for years, but decided to kill him right now. Whether they're trying to provoke an attack, or just send a message to Biden, setting the stage for the new administration, isn't certain. Either way the outcome is what they want.
