That's always been the fear - that someone with Trump's inclinations but a better brain would emerge.

But I seriously don't think it's Hawley. Trump 2.0 probably won't emerge until after the next midterms.

Trump's 4 years were the perfect "test phase" for populism and white supremacy.  Now Hawley and his likes have all the data they need to prepare for what can happen and what won't happen.

But either it's Hawley or another is irrelevant: Trump II is coming...

There's always the chance that the Yanks will learn from their mistakes, especially after the most recent unpleasantness. Let's see how the mid-terms play out.
