if you were to compare the number of times the unforgivable sin is mentioned with the many passages that talk about god forgiving sin in general the unforgivable one begins to look like a little small print exception tacked on to a much greater concept. It's like saying Oh by the way.......
This is one of the things that really bothered me about the Christian theology they would teach lay people.
