You were probably correct on the super-religious nature of the guy since he didn't know how else to deal with temptation but to eliminate it, I guess prayer wasn't helping.
I didn't address guns or no guns...you can carry on with someone else on that argument.
It is related to firearms like it or not, firearms are what he used, regardless of his motive or legal status to buy them.
But, I would agree that his dad being holy person, and being deeply indoctrinated, probably taught him that sex is evil.
I would however argue why target Asian women and the place they work if you were not targeting them? I think he had a leaning for Asian women but couldn't take rejection from women in general.
And yea, prayer was not working which was why he turned to firearms.
