Our ego deludes us from reality, it perpetuates and inflicts suffering, the attainment of knowledge could be considered a sensual pleasure, to gain an advantage over others, to benefit from what we've learnt, but with event learning comes knowledge and with life learning comes wisdom, this is just the nature of our being and I do not gain from suffering.
