As 37 points out, there are more than 500 000 deaths in the US. Bear in mind - that’s WITH most people voluntarily staying home when they can, wearing masks when they can’t and not crowding together. Add to that the mandates limiting public gatherings, the closures of schools and entertainment venues, and the cancellations of large. Without all this, your death toll would be MUCH higher.
