Nothing in our constitution prevents a lockdown, but you'd probably have to be alive to worry about that..or any other thing above.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
Did you just say you believe Andrew Cuomo is the person leading the American government? Because he’s only the governor of New York.

It’s a fairly well-tested working hypothesis that one of the most effective ways to prevent communicable diseases is to keep the communicants away from one another.
In other news, scientists appear to be divided over whether or not locking claustrophobes in stalled, crowded underwater elevators increases their stress levels. Boru

First off, they should not be called "lockdowns" anymore than seatbelt laws should be called "anti car".
In the history of natural disasters, there have been mandates that require manditory evacuations. If the government medical experts tell you to do this or that, they are not trying to punish anyone, they are simply telling you this is what needs to be done to reduce harm.
If you get Covid you have a 99% survival rate, the lockdowns are silly

America has a 320 million population. 1% of that would still be almost 3 million deaths. At this point we are lucky, but with still over 540,000 deaths. If cars were recalled at the same rate every time a air bag or break or ignition caused a death, we would damned sure do somthing about it.
Just saying if you do get it you most likely will not die. I did get my vaccine b/c I'm diabetic but I'm just paranoid.
