Israel, under its current government, is an ethno-nationalist colonizer that wants to eradicate the Palestinian presence in the region, and they are absolutely in the wrong. I feel as though the media has tricked folks into believing this conflict is so complicated, and that there's no right or wrong but both sides are guilty, or some shit like that. But the power differential between the Israeli state and the Palestinian people is too great to believe something so simplistic. Even if you factor in Hamas, a U.S.-backed Israel with nuclear weapons is clearly the stronger entity here.

Putting a stop to Israel's takeover of Palestinian land via settlements is step one.
