As A Deeply Southern Person..I hope a day will come again when this isn't true. I'll note that the south is much better positioned to grab at the climate ring than the north (though the political realities of the south may prevent it from ever realizing that potential) - but I do tend to think that aspiring rebels should wait until they can afford the ammo before they declare their intentions.
Afford?! I haven't killed any paper since September, what with everybody stockpiling .22 LR ammo.
Can't even find it here, in California, and can't have it shipped to me here, either. Though I do have enough larger caliber rounds to harvest some long pig, if things go sideways.
