Nope. Human sacrifice is wrong. Period. Does not matter which stupid deity commands it or demands it.
It is flat out wrong no matter which way you try to cover it up.
And that is your game. Cover up the obvious shortcomings of whichever mad deity you happen to believe.
Frankly, you are trying and failing to excuse the failures of whatever fucked up deity you happen to believe in, it does not matter which of the countless thousands of claimed deities that might be.
They all have one thing in common. All of them are imaginary.
I think a guy sharing his body invisibly interms of cracker and wine is pretty cool way to avoid killing humans or animals ritually.
