 I mean can almost hear the 'Flounce' as they turn on their heels, nose in the air as if there's some sort of coherant point in all that mess.

I suspect latter part is manipulation. Make up an enemy image rather than seeing the problems with a system. Easy to cash in on

The on record and many, many instances of Preists abusing their level of trust and responsibilities.

The on record, corrupt buisness practices enacted by writ of the Church body/organization.
