I agree, there is no excuse for that kind of shit. Now, unruly fans are not a new thing. Even fights between fans, or fights at sports bars piss me off. I have never understood why any adult thinks it is ok to fight over a game. The idiots who do this are not fighting the Nazis, it is just a game.
I once went to Philly at their old stadium for a Washington Eagles playoff game. I was the only Washington fan in the rowdiest section. On the kickoff, we got the ball and made long run to start the game. I cheered, and the next thing I knew I had bottles and food thrown at me. Another time at a bar, a Cowboy fan overheard me talking to the guy next to me about a crappy play Dallas made, and he wanted to start a fight with me. I wasn't even trying to piss anyone off, just commenting on the play.
I am fine with friendly trash talk too. But to commit an act of violence over a sporting event is just to me insane. Be it at a stadium or bar, security/owner, has every right to toss you out, or even have police arrest them.
In the case of Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets, he was begging for something like that to happen with his stomping and wiping his foot on the Celtics logo mid court after the game. He's a little shit for that. This is the same guy who lit sage and walked around the Celtics arena earlier this year to cleanse out the bad spirits as he put it. Kyrie Irving admitted that he was not acting how he should have been the season he was on the Celtics and he admitted that he was not a good teammate that year, and he blamed it on a family members death, but now he's being a little shit and rubbing his foot on the logo? You just don't do that. And now the little shit is calling it racism when he completely provoked it by being a little shit.
