My return has nothing to do with Triker. I was feeling burned out and took a break. I'm feeling better and decided I could return. Though I won't be as active as I was before to avoid the same issue.

Unless you are literally dying, "Good Bye" forum threads are rarely a good idea. I have been on rp forums for about 12 years now and that's a very typical behavior; say a big, dramatic, heartfelt goodbye on the public forum, then they return at some point later. If you care enough about what other people think to post a goodbye, then you care enough to get the last word in.

The best method really is "If you plan to leave and want to disappear from a forum forever, don't tell anyone. Just go quietly." Because then, you don't seem overly sentimental about strangers on the internet and just in case you do give in to the urge to come back, nobody really knows that you made a promise to leave. It just simply looks like you took a break.

I was seriously considering leaving permenently when I wrote it. But after a couple of days away I felt better. Though I won't be around near as much.

Why was I on that particular thread? I always go to the "Damned Trump" thread first. So I read through the thread found your incredibly moronic take and rightly refuted it.
