The thing about pedophiles in schools vs. pedophiles in the Catholic Church is probably accurate...but the schools don't claim their teachers are chosen by the anointed of God and speak for God. It's basically claimsing that we shouldn't expect the RCC to be any better than a secular institution at screening out pedophiles. But shouldn't we, if Cahtholicism is true?

Additionally, I don't think any school systems have a history of hiding and protecting the offenders.

And even promoting them, as was seen recently with Bergoglio's favourite altar boy being made a priest despite it been known that he was bullying other children into sexual abuse as an altar boy, and kept abusing children as an adult.
