Ok, this is how far I have come. let me know what you think. I'm still not quite happy with it, and might change some stuff around.

Why would I worship imperfection?
Why would I join a system that isn't fair?
Why would I hail your prospect of stagnation?
Why would I need to save a soul that isn't there?
and in my eyes you see miracles,
and grace in every drop of rain,
You never see the beauty in coincidence,
And you see only punishment in pain.

Whenever the suffering seemed to have no end,
And the ringing silence was my ownly answer,
I've grown to old for an imaginary friend.

To something silent and unseen,
Why do I require your salvation?
Why should I live down on my knees?
