As far as shooting people goes - I find it to be a rung bell. It can' t be un- rung. It' s a line that can't be uncrossed.

If that’s the standard, then everyone who’s ever shot someone - police, combat vets, hunters, etc - should all be confined under psychiatric care forever.

I think it’s indicative of Hinckley’s progress that, for the past five years, he’s been allowed to drive - unattended - up to 30 miles from his mum’s house without managing to shoot anyone.

I’d be breaking the law if I sold Hinckley a gun. He’s not allowed to own firearms.

Why ISN' T he allowed to own firearms if he isn' t a threat?
