Many live in complete destitution, subjected to a diseased and contaminated environment, half of humanity still doesn't have an adequate water supply and lack vital facilities for basic welfare necessities. You live in a first world society, you're leading this highly-pampered lifestyle, you're not living life for survival, you're living it to gratify your senses. You're a need machine, your sentience was an accident of chemistry, a by-product of a self-replicating molecule that has been incessantly consuming matter and energy and cannibalising itself for no rhyme or reason, through all these different manifestations of biology, for the last ~4 billion years on this god forsaken planet.
There's an asymmetry of pleasure and pain inherent in nature, your needs are derived from a state of deprivation, thus your pleasurable sensations are a removal of discomfort, you essentially crave pleasure and avert suffering. You would give all the money in the world to avoid being born as Joseph Merrick or some 2 year old with leukaemia rather than purchase some happy experiences or live a luxurious lifestyle. Why should anyone be given a head start in life? What gives you the right to play the lottery of life? Their dumb ignorant parents imposed life on them, they didn't get to have a say in what conditions they wanted to be subjected to, or whether they wanted to be brought into existence at all. There was no consent whatsoever and they were forced to acclimate as best they could with what was before them.
What makes someone pro-choice? It's that they recognise that a fetus isn't a sentient being yet. You will give rights to the burdens of pregnancy, yet you neglect giving rights to the burdens of potential life. Why is that?
Why are some people herbivores? Because they recognise that they're leeching nutrients from the meat of another sentient being, they don't have an instinctual carnivorous nature to them unlike this capacity to be empathetic towards others, they're able to co-exist with other species, they're less susceptible to something like 40 various diseases, they don't want a society of humans perpetuating other sentient beings, just so that they can benefit through the suffering of, for the satisfaction of their needs. We have the intelligence to recognise it's unethical, we have the resources to greatly alleviate the suffering of sentient life, the problem is that we have these need machines addicted to the flesh of other sentient beings and are incapable of giving up their unethical behaviour, so they justify it through any means possible, usually resorting to something like "chicken is yummy" instead of saying anything actually rational.
The wars for finite resources have only just begun, we have these hedonistic societies which will sacrifice many lives for the sole purpose of satisfying need and providing comfort to an upper class.
We acquired the oldest part of our brain, the lizard brain, through evolution that's fighting for constant control of us, it's responsible for all of your social conditioning, and all of this emotional baggage such as fear, anger and negativity. We have this ego that manifests itself through attachment to things in our environment. We continuously create a mess just so that someone else can clean it up. We're constantly dreaming of a utopia, yet we haven't displayed any capacity of fixing this hate problem, we're the very thing in nature we seek to solve and our needs will never be fulfilled.
I'm also telling you that I would rather not have been brought into existence, there's all the proof you need that the imposition of life on a child is unethical. Life is not a fucking game you can play with, you don't have the right to keep perpetuating sentience. It's not a fucking toy bitch, just leave it the fuck alone.
You can be aware of the harms that cigarette smoking brings and can still enjoy one once in a while, but you wouldn't glorify it because you know that it ain't fucking worth it. Why is it then that you tax the fuck out of cigarettes? Surely if the smoker has all of the knowledge of risks being imposed through the inhalation of this substance, isn't he at fault for the consequences he suffers? Yet society goes so far as to provide subsidies for other's little bundle of shits. You will make a man like Jack Kevorkian serve a prison sentence for second-degree murder because he assisted in the suicide of another human being that could not cope with the burdens of life anymore. You don't see how fucked up this is?
We have a society of human beings so deluded that they're even willing to support something like this:
So to conclude, you're just a pawn on a chessboard to be used as DNA cannon fodder, we know what the game is, it can't be won no matter how big your brain is, you have no right to fuck with it or impose it on any potential person, it's not going to going to get worse, bringing more people into existence is just creating more harm, the sooner we put an end to it the better, it's time for a graceful exit.
Intelligence isn't something to boast about either, something that puts us 'on top of the game'... With intelligence comes responsibility, to correctly compute the values perceived in our environment and to derive logically sound ethics from them.
We have these analytical truths that bring about an objective reality. You can say your favourite ice cream is chocolate which would be a subjective truth, or you can give a description of the colour, the texture, the temperature, what ingredients it's made out of and so on... You can't let your emotions and personal biases keep getting entangled when you're dealing with the objective truth of reality, you have to put that all aside and just look at it for what it really is.
"If children were brought into the world by an act of pure reason alone, would the human race continue to exist? Would not a man rather have so much sympathy with the coming generation as to spare it the burden of existence, or at any rate not take it upon himself to impose that burden upon it in cold blood?" - Arthur Schopenhauer, Studies in Pessimism: The Essays
Do you see that you're part of a big waste engine now?
Do you see the futility of it all?
If you had a big red button that you could press which would end all life this second, would you push it?
TL;DR. Most if it anyways. I got through a few sentences of unformatted wall-of-text before I gave up.
Serious question: Why are you here?
