Is it really necessary for you to try to turn every thread into a lecture about Australia? I’m sure it’s a fine place, and the handful of Aussies I’ve met seem to be very nice people. 

But, come on.

 I have been doing so intentionally for several reasons.

(1) A  member for whom I have respect got her panties in a bunch because I was criticising the US. On reflection, I concluded she was right and have tried not to do it.  I hope to eventually find a middle way. In the meantime perhaps ignore any of my posts you don't like. Fair's fair ,that's what I do with yours.

(2) I happen to be Australian. .I know a lot more about my own country than I do about the US. I also think it's OK to make informed criticism of my own country

(3)  Because you and others have failed to grasp the salient fact that Australia is the centre of the civilised world, not the US 

My panties aren't in a bunch, thank you very much. I was pointing out a pattern in your posts.

btw - it may be a good idea not to say out loud that you ignore the admins on the forum...you know, the people with their names in red.
