So, laws intended to make it more difficult to vote have made voting more difficult. I am profoundly shocked.
Here, you can enrol (I think Americans call it ‘register’) to vote right up to and during Election Day. No one has to bring identification, just the EasyVote card. If you’ve forgotten to bring your card, you tell the voting place people your name and address and they give you a ballot. Pretty simple.
