I am old enough to remember the drills where we hid under our desks to protect ourselves nuclear blasts. Seemed silly to me, even as a little kid.
When 9/11 happened I lived in a place that was surrounded by military bases so was a little tense to see what was next as the pentagon was hit as well as other downed planes.
I just can't spend what little time I likely have left stressing over being blown up and I am certainly not in physical shape to go into post-apocalypse survival mode.
