I am concerned, yes. I am greatly concerned about the climate and environment as well. I should emphasize that my concerns about the future of democracy are not so much because democracy is ‘the greatest thing ever’ or anything like that, but more so that I sense a significant threat of autocracy.
Democracy leads to consumerism to burning fossil fuels to climate change, perhaps catastrophic.
Autocratic societies have lower carbon footprints per capita.
