I propose we start measuring everything in giraffes. We already know the average height, length, mass, volume and lifespan of a giraffe. Some not-too-intensive research could lead to agreement on quantities such as heat, electrical resistance, conductivity, magnetism, etc of giraffes, and these numbers could be divided into convenient units. Just think of it - no more mish-mash of feet, meters, inches, grams, and so on. I admit there could be some trouble generating non-confusing symbols for these units, but that's a doddle.

I took physics in university. Physicists approximate everything with a sphere of equal mass. That is why they suck at psychology.

I do not ask that you respect religion, but we need to respect the religious, because they are rational humans just like us atheists. I was rational when I was a Christian. I believed because of indoctrination, not lack of intelligence.
