The 30/30 rule is not strange it's a sane rule that keeps people from drive-by spamming it with links and videoes and not engaging in any actual conversation. This use to be a huge problem and we don't delete threads here we only close them.

  This is the only forum I know of that has that rule.  That makes it strange to me.  Also, I hear a lot about this spamming stuff.  As in trying to sell something.  Why would anybody want to do that.  Aren't there actual forums for that sort of thing?  Computers, cars, health food, etc?  If there was any spamming to done, wouldn't it make sense to do it where it wouldn't be considered to be spam?  Next, I have links, videos and pictures.  But they only deal with whatever topic I may be talking about.  Why would anybody want to "drive by" and post such things.  That goes against the whole idea of any discussion forum.  It seems to me that these things would make what you speak of rare.  Not worthy of a 30/30 rule that might screw with somebody like me.  I am all about debate.  To the misfortune of those I debate, I am also all about proving what I have to say.  Also, if you are going to close a thread to debate, it may as well be deleted.

  That's a pretty stupid question.  If I did get banned from here before and told you what my username would have been, wouldn't you or one of the other admins just ban me again?
