What exactly do you think no beef means?  

In that the "insult" should merely be brushed aside as its origin lies in my illustrating the thrust of this topic - mainly that words are like bullets and therefore freedom of speech is a myth (all the moreso in UK than USA). I meant no offence, in a nutshell - your bolded was just to nail the point.

Ah okay, that makes sense I think. I can only speak for the USA in reminding that freedom of speech doesn’t allow you to speak without consequence. Instead it simply means that the government cannot punish you for what you say or restrict your right to say it. This freedom, like all freedoms, is only valid up to the point that it infringes upon another person’s rights though.
