This is a bit of bastard version of the 2nd law of thermodynamics, but if "energy" cannot be destroyed and there is the potential for this "energy" to be recycled (aka into new collective of "energy" making upon a recognizable collage of "energies" know as "things"), well... it would not mean that there is recycled "energy" of previous "energy collages" formerly known as human, but rather that the potential of this occuring is not to be eliminated.
Shit! Did I just post a possible empirical evidence for reincarnation? hock:
Well... I did limit it to the "energy", as for all the consciousness stuff and experiences, I cannot grant credence for this notion.
Meow!
GREG
btw...
Some of A being some of B and some of B being some of C does not in anyway imply that some of A must be some of C, but the potential is not to be eliminated, just as it cannot be confirmed. It's not sound or even valid... but this does not exclude it being possible. (Someone tell "Spock" to give it a rest!)
Moral is as moral does and as moral wishes it all too be. - MoS
The absence of all empirical evidence for the necessity of intuitive X existing is evidence against the necessary empirical existence of intuitive X - MoS (variation of 180proof)
Athesim is not a system of belief, but rather a single answer to a single question. It is the designation applied by theists to those who do not share their assumption that a god/deity exists. - MoS
I am not one to attribute godlike qualities to things that I am unable to understand. I may never be in the position to understand certain things, but I am not about to create an anthropomorphic deity out of my short-commings. I wish not to errect a monument to my own personal ignorace and demand that others worship this proxy of ego. - MoS
