Allow me to assist you.
Stealing is a crime (I think we can agree on that), but stealing food to feed a starving child seems much more justifiable than stealing your neighbour’s laptop because it’s really cool and you want it.
Given the choice between mercy and justice, I’ll take mercy every time - giving and receiving.
